Colts-Patriots: Game Balls and Goats

Posted Nov 8, 2005

The Indianapolis Colts traveled to Foxborough and abused a beat-up Patriots defense piling on points and yards at will. The Patriots made an effort to try to keep pace with the high-powered Colts offense, but miscues, turnovers and inopportune mistakes eliminated the possibility of a comeback.

The Patriots lost to the Indianapolis Colts in an ugly fashion. The Colts were able to control the game by exploiting the Patriots defensive secondary, and to complement that attack with a solid rushing game. The Patriots defense was unable to stop the Colts, not forcing a punt until the final minutes of the game after falling behind by at least three scores.

The Colts improve their record to 8-0 while the Patriots fall to 4-4
