FOXBORO, Mass. - It was back to work on Monday morning for the Patriots, as
they practiced inside Gillette Stadium in preparation for their season ticket
holder practice in-stadium on Monday evening. There was plenty of action at
practice on Monday, and Patriots Insider was there to bring you the story.
Day 10: Training camp Quick Hits Monday 8/6
Morning practice
Conditions: It felt like football weather, and practice was completed
before any rain arrived.
Missing: Randy Moss, Kyle Brady, and Asante Samuel.
Sightings: Donte Stallworth, Garrett Mills, Bob Kraft (in shorts), Scott
Pioli.
Tempo: Upbeat and energetic, with a heavy emphasis on the kicking game
and the scoreboard inside Gillette operating like a real game.
No Change
Coach Bill Belichick answered the last question of the press conference by saying
tersely that Randy Moss is still day-to-day.
Just for kicks
Defensive back Willie Andrews and cornerback Gemara Williams were both returning
kickoffs in a practice, in addition to Wes Welker, Sammy Morris and Ellis Hobbs.
