Sherman Logan is a 5th year senior who started on the same defense as Lawrence Sidbury, his much heralded teammate. After fighting through injuries, Logan managed to turn in one of his best games in his Senior season finale against Montana.
Logan finished his senior season with 47 tackles (18 solo), 12 TFL, a pair of passes defended, one forced fumble and 6 sacks. We were able to coax Logan out of his shell a bit by asking him about the toughest opponent he faced and Richmond and without hesitation, he named top ranked offensive tackle Eugene Monroe out of Virginia.
Always complimentary of his teammates, Logan gave credit to his co-captain Lawrence Sidbury as one of the university's best prospects headed into the NFL Draft. Though Logan led Sidbury in tackles for a loss and yards gained in TFL and sacks, Logan doesn't begrudge his teammate's success.
