Inactive Analysis:

New England:
The Patriots ruled out five players over the weekend: Edelman, Green, Light, Morris, and Taylor. The other three, Ohrnberger, Alexander and Wilhite were healthy scratches.

The decision to park Wilhite, who had seen significant playing time in the secondary, opens up an opportunity for Terrence Wheatley to get back on the field. Wheatley has been noticeably absent from the team's game day lineup in recent weeks.

Kyle Arrington will get the nod today over special teams ace Eric Alexander. Alexander may also have been caught in a numbers game with Junior Seau, the team's other inside / outside linebacker.

With Ohrnberger out, Dan Connolly and Mark LeVoir will be the active backups for today.

Ron Brace is active for today in light of the absence of defensive lineman Jarvis Green who had knee surgery recently. Brace has been active for just two games this season, but received a vote of confidence from defensive coordinator Dean Pees recently.

Crowder and Ferguson were expected to be out for the game, they were part of the team's injury update from Saturday. Filling in will be Reggie Torbor.

For Ferguson to be out, the Dolphins will likely turn to Paul Soliai, who has experience on the interior defensive line.
