Patriots Add Another Receiver

FOXBORO -- The New England Patriots announced Monday that the team had signed free agent rookie Buddy Farnham. Farnham was invited to tryout for the team during the rookie minicamp.

One more small school Draft hopeful will get his chance to try to make an NFL roster this seasos in Foxboro. Rookie free agent WR Buddy Farnham was signed by the Patriots on Monday, after trying out for the team during this past weekend's rookie minicamp.

Farnham, 6-0, 185 pounds, was named the Ivy League and New England Player of the Year last season as a senior at Brown. He completed the 2009 season with 1,003 receiving yards and 74 receptions. Farnham finished his college career with 229 receptions, sixth in the Ivy League record book, while his 2,895 career yards are seventh in Ivy League history.
