The New England Patriots search for a solution at the linebacker position is likely headed toward free agency vs. potential Draft prospects. In New England’s system, the linebacker must be experienced, and most rookies just don’t have the awareness necessary to man the position. One hot commodity the Pats may take a serious look at is Chicago’s Lance Briggs.
