How Acquired: Trade with the Bengals April 2004 for second-round pick
(56th overall) Scouting Report: Big physical bruising running style.
Has an elusive quality running through holes with a burst. Tough to tackle, typically
gaining additional yardage after first contact. Willing to run over defensive
backs as often as running around them. Does not possess breakaway speed, but rarely
gets caught from behind when breaking into the open field. Has a knack for finding
the cutback lane, good vision and a strong stiff-arm technique which enables him
to stay on his feet and keep smaller defenders at bay. Pro Experience:

less money to play for the Patriots in 2004, which was part of the catalyst in
the team trading for him. New England gave the Bengals their second-round pick
(56th overall ) with which they selected Madieu Williams. Dillon's contract contained
an incentive bonus which he reached in the final game of the season against the
San Francisco 49ers, in spite of missing a game during the season and not starting
