Poole has been with the Patriots for three seasons but has been injured a fair portion of the time. Played all of 2003 but only 5 games in 2004. Ended the season on injured reserve (12/18/04). Played in 1 game in 2005, also ending the season on injured reserve.
How Acquired: Signed with the Patriots as an unrestricted free agent on March 11, 2003. Poole was originally drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the first round (22nd overall) of the 1995 NFL Draft. Spent time in Indianapolis and Denver.
Personal: Born in LaGrange GA, February 3, 1972. Attended LaGrange High, lettering in both football and track. Went to college at Fort Valley State where he majored in business. Poole and his wife Jennifer have two children, Tyra and Nakai.
