How Acquired:
Signed by the Patriots as an unrestricted free agent on March 16, 2001. Originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 1997 NFL draft, (91st overall).
New England Patriots (2001-present)
Vrabel has been playing outside linebacker for the Patriots, occasionally moving inside or as a down lineman. Has made special contributions to the team as a tight end in goal line including a 2-yard touchdown catch in Super Bowl XXXIX. Vrabel has five receptions in his career (up to 2005), all of which have been for a score. |
