| Waived by the Chicago Bears, acquired via waivers by the New England Patriots 6/25/05.
SCOUTING REPORT: Has decent quickness with average techinque. Mobility allows him to operate in space either as a pass protector or run-blocker. Has good awareness and is able to pick up blitzes or different defensive formations. Unfortunately displays a tendency to over-extended losing out on position battles with the speed rush... Has an injury history... needs to work on technique and ability to stop the power rush.
NFL EXPERIENCE
Assigned to the Rhine Fire in NFL Europe by the Chicago Bears for the 2004 NFLEL season. Anderson has seen limited live action having only played the first four games of 2004... Was used as a guard for the Bears... Spent most of his tenure with the team as a practice squad player... Originally signed with the Bears July 9, 2003 after being drafted in the seventh round (261st overall) in the 2003 NFL Draft.

University of Pittsburgh (1998-2002)
Four-year starter as guard for the Panthers earning All-Big East Conference honors his senior year....Started in 47 of 48 games helping the Panthers rushing attack to average 300 yards per game as part of the offensive unit. |
