Biography:

How Acquired: Free agent, signed by the New England Patriots on December 22, 2006. Originally selected by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the 1995 NFL Draft (56th overall).

Pro Career:
(2006) New England Patriots Took over the punting duties for Ken Walter and Josh Miller. Miller was on IR with a shoulder injury, while Walter fought his own injuries but ended up joining Miller on the sideline. Sauerbrun was inconsistent at first, but performed well in the team's final games and into the postseason.
