How Acquired: Signed a one-year contract with the Vikings on April 4, 2007 as an unrestricted free agent. Second-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts in the 2003 NFL Draft

Career Notes:
Missed the first game of the 2005 season serving a league-mandated suspension for discharging a firearm in a public place during the off-season but was a regular on the field after that. Started nine contests in an injury-plagued 2004 season after starting 15 in his rookie season. He was a three-year starter at Ohio State, including the 2003 National Championship team. Doss was a consensus All-America and All-Big Ten choice, and was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year.
