Pro History: Selected in the fourth round (106th overall) by Cleveland in the 2004 NFL Draft. … Traded to the Buccaneers from the Browns on April 24, 2005, for a 2005 Buccaneers draft pick.

2007: Saw action in five regular season games with Tampa Bay with three starts … Finished the season 94-of-139 for 1,009 yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions… Also rushed 12 times for 117 yards.

2006: Did not play a game for the Buccaneers. Torn knee ligaments cost McCown reps during training camp and he spent the latter half of the season as the third quarterback.
