Born Nicholas Jesse Kaczur to Peter and Janet Kaczur on July 28, 1979 in Brantford, Ontario. Last name is pronounced "KAY-zer". Attended Attended Brantford Collegiate Institute, and was rated as the best prep lineman in Ontario. Kaczur worked in the construction industry for two years before continuing his education at Toledo in 2001. He also played in the Canadian Junior Football league in 1999. Kaczur majored in recreation and leisure studies the University of Toledo.
