Coaching Career:
(2001-present) New England Patriots
First joined the Patriots as a personnel assistant eventually moving into a position which included breaking down film and scouting preparation for the defense. Was promoted to a coaching assistant in 2002. In 2003 McDaniels began work with the defensive backs. Became the quarterbacks coach in 2004 and was eventually named as the teams offensive coordinator in January of 2006.

Worked as a graduate assistant under head coach Nick Saban.
Personal:
Born in April 22, 1976 in Canton, Ohio and attended Canton McKinley High School. Played wide receiver at John Carroll University. McDaniels and his wife Laura have two children, a son and a daughter.
