STRENGTHS
 Power
 Tackle-Breaking Ability
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
 Breakaway Speed
 Elusiveness
Ultra-productive on the small school level, Baylark has just average size/speed numbers and projects to the late rounds. Has a slight chance to make it as a third back in but must produce on special teams next summer.

Biography:

Four-year starter, awarded All-Conference honors every year since his sophomore campaign. Senior rushing totals included 338/1,960/15, with 23/237/3 catching the ball in 15 games. Only the third runner in Division I-AA history to have four consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons.

Pos:

Hard-working interior ball carrier who picks up the tough yardage. Sees the field, finds the small openings and drives his feet on contact. Patient, waits for blocks to develop and displays good awareness. Strong, breaks several tackles during a single run and picks up a lot of yardage off initial contact. Solid receiver out of the backfield.

Neg:

Marginal playing speed, cannot beat defenders around the corner or run to daylight. Not an elusive back who creates yardage. Marginal blocker.

2006 Update:
