Free agent DB Ty Law has agreed to join the Denver Broncos for the remainder of the 2009 football season according to multiple published reports. Expectations were for the deal to be finalized this weekend. The Broncos made it official this morning.Law rejoins former Patriots assistant coach Josh McDaniels with the Broncos. The pair were part of New England's three Super Bowl championships from 2001-04. Law spent four seasons together with McDaniels as part of the Patriots organization. According to ESPN, Law could potentially suit up for the Broncos Week 9 game against the Steelers on Monday night. If he does, the five-time Pro Bowler would potentially play as the nickel or dime defender. Law, 35, was selected by the Patriots in the first round (23rd overall) of the 1995 NFL Draft. He spent ten seasons in New England before signing as a free agent with the New York Jets (2005). He moved to Kansas City to play for the Chiefs from 2006-07, and returned to New York for the remainder of the 2008 season. Law's first game back in 2008 was against the Patriots. In 14 seasons, Law has 439 tackles, 52 interceptions, five sacks, and five forced fumbles.
