Bush named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Miami Dolphins star running back Reggie Bush was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. Bush earned the honor by rushing for a career-high 203 yards. That included a career-best 76-yard touchdown run. For the season with two remaining games, Bush is just shy of reaching the 1,000-yard rushing mark. He has gained 973 yards on the ground, also hauling in 41 passes for 270 yards.

In a season that cost coach Tony Sparano his job, Bush emerged as one of the few bright spots for the Dolphins organization after joining the team following a stint with the New Orleans Saints.
