VIDEO: Roundtable Discussion On Patriots

Are the Patriots still contenders in the AFC? This panel takes a look at their chances

Fox Sports recently conducted a roundtable discussion of the Patriots and how they may stack up against the competition in 2014.  While there were varying opinions on how the rest of the roster would fare, the general consensus was if Tom Brady was on the field, the Patriots would be contenders.

The panel consisted of  former NFL players: WR Randy Moss; QB, Donovan McNabb and LB Brian Urlacher.  Each has faced Brady and/or had been his teammate in the past ten years.  McNabb's Eagles came up short in against Brady's Patriots in Super Bowl XXXIX.  Urlacher was immortalized for this highlight moment when Brady juked him out of a would-be tackle.  And Moss spent time playing with Brady from 2007-10.  A few of the Brady-to-Moss highlights (Including the single season TD reception record) can be found here.

Moss who has had numerous quarterbacks throwing him the ball, felt Brady was one of the toughest to play the position and made no bones about throwing praise on his former teammate.

One thing I'll say about Tom Brady and that offense... Tom will play through any injury."
-- Randy Moss on the toughness of Tom Brady
