Patriots draft pick Justin Rogers signed a three year deal with the team last week. PI has the details.

Adam Caplan, senior NFL writer for Scout.com, reports that Patriots linebacker Justin Rogers who signed a deal last week, received a 3-year contract. Caplan noted that the SMU product's deal includes base salaries of $285,000 (2007), $370,000 (2008) and $460,000 (2009).

Rogers was selected by the Patriots in the sixth round (180th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound former defensive lineman will compete with a number of other former linemen at the outside linebacker spot on the Patriots' roster.

Rogers is one of six draft picks who have officially signed with the Patriots. The team still has three players left who have yet to sign their rookie contracts; DB Brandon Meriweather, DL Kareem Brown and OL Mike Elgin. Reports indicate that both Elgin and Brown are close to deals.
