"Drago" as he's called by those who know him, was in town on a tryout basis with the Patriots this weekend during New England's rookie minicamp. The 6-foot-5, 215-pound punter was widely considered one of the top five punters in the nation last year. Scout.com had Dragosavich ranked as the second best punter available in the 2008 NFL Draft.

A participant in the 2008 Texas vs the Nation All-star game and the 2008 Senior Bowl, Dragosavich caught scout's attention with his booming punts. The North Dakota State product led the Great West football Conference with 45.4 yards per punt. The former Bison joins veterans Scott Player and Chris Hanson on the Patriots roster. Similar to lat season, the Patriots have three punters on the roster who will compete for one spot.

Tyson DeVree: Pos: TE Ht: 6-5.5 Wt: 245 School: Colorado
DeVree was signed by the Patriots as an undrafted rookie out of the University of Colorado. The 6-foot-5.5, 245-pound tight end attended Patriots rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.

DeVree wasn't highly ranked by a number of NFL Draft sites including Scout.com. He transferred to Colorado his sophomore season from Western Michigan and only played two seasons for the Buffaloes. He sat out 2005, then participated in 11 games as a redshirt junior. According to NCAA Stats, DeVree managed 37 receptions for 402 yards and eight scores his senior season.

A big target over the middle, DeVree will compete with Stephen Spach, David Thomas and Marcus Pollard for a roster spot behind incumbent starter Ben Watson.
