Shoring Up The Roster
The Patriots made official the signing of TE Tyson DeVree (Colorado) and P Mike Dragosavich on Monday. More on the pair can be found here: (link)

In addition to making those moves official, the team signed free agent defensive lineman Steve Fifita. Fifita was originally signed by the Miami Dolphins an undrafted free agent in May 2006. After being cut late in the preseason (Aug. 26) that year, the former Utah defender sat out of football for the 2006 season. Miami re-signed Fifita for 2007 where he played in 13 games for the Dolphins. The 6-foot-312-pound defensive lineman projects as a possible backup for Vince Wilfork at the nose tackle position.

Two Released
Two players who participated in the Patirots rookie minicamp have been waived by the team. T Josh Coffman (East Carolina) and DL Carlos Feliciano (Maryland). Both players joined the team as undrafted rookie free agents on May 2, 2008.
