Miami Dolphins

DL Lionel Dotson (Ankle)
DL Ikaika Alama-Francis
OL Andrew Gardner

WR Patrick Turner
QB Tyle Thigpen

The absence of Vollmer, Taylor, Lockett, Edelman and Springs was announced Saturday night.

Missing Neal is a bit of a surprise for the Patriots. He was on the injury report earlier, but has been battling bumps and bruises for a few weeks now. In his place, Dan Connolly will likely get the start again as he did against the Jets Nov. 22.

CB Terrence Wheatley has been a curiosity for the Patriots secondary. After Jonathan Wilhite was moved out of the corner spot last week in favor of rookie Darius Butler, the thought was that Wheatley might also get another shot. Instead Wheatley is inactive for the 7th time this season. With Springs and Lockett also out, the corner duties will return to Leigh Bodden and Butler along with a combination of Wilhite, Kyle Arrington and rookie safety Patrick Chung who plays in dime situations.

Jarvis Green is playing today which is a good sign for the Patriots defense. He'll join a full compliment of defensive linemen to try to contain the Dolphins' Wildcat offense with Pat White taking over for Ronnie Brown.
